He said that modern young people saw no way to satisfy their demands and find a life strategy. Many young people worship politicians and show business figures, not scientists, doctors, teachers, engineers.
Kotov noted that, according to VTsIOM polls in mid-2012, 39% of 18-24-year-old people considered leaving the country. About 29% of the most educated young people had similar ideas.
The activist explained that the ‘Family relic’ project was developed to encourage self-identification, strengthening of family values and traditions, ethic and patriotic development, form a base of family relics.Kotov believes that the problem needed a complex approach. He said that consolidations non-commercial organizations, schools, museums, ordinary citizens and expression of proudness with history and culture, they form a national idea.
