Liesl Elder, Director of Development of Oxford University, and Professor Nargiz Pashayeva, Rector of the Baku branch of the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, co-chair of the British-Azerbaijani Soviety, signed a memorandum to open the Nizami Ganjavi Science Center for Azerbaijan and Caucasian Studies at the British university, 1news.az reports.
Pashayeva made a speech on art and heritage of Ganjavi at the faculty for Oriental studies.
Professor Edmund Herzig, who heads the faculty, as well as Dean of the Theology Faculty of the Baku State University Vasim Mamedaliyev attended the speech.
