The Third Baku International Humanitarian Forum which is going to start tomorrow marks the cooperation in the sphere of the humanities between Russia and Azerbaijan, Russian experts believe.
The event is expected to be attended by officials, public figures and scholars from more than 100 countries. The participants are going to focus on the most acute problems of the 21st century.
According to the head of the North-South political analysis centre, the editor-in-chief of the Vestnik Kavkaza news agency, Dr. Alexey Vlasov, the role of the Baku forum in Azerbaijani-Russian bilateral relations is very important.
"It's a good chance to maintain bilateral ties in the spheres of education, science and culture," he says.
His approach is shared by the Vice President of the Consulting-Analysis-PR union, Associate Professor of the University of Moscow, Dr. Ismail Agakishiyev, "It's indicative that the forum is known as the humanitarian Davos," he says.
