Lyudmila Alekseyeva, the head of the oldest human rights association in Russia - the Moscow Helsinki Group - says one cannot stop migration and Russians had better get used to this fact.
"Trying to stop migration in the modern world is similar to trying to stop the laws of nature. One should understand that migration is inevitable and get used to this fact," she said at a press conference in Moscow.
The human rights activist also underlines that migration is a natural thing and all fears are based simply on xenophobia and nothing else.
