Sergey Tsapok, leader of the Kushchevskaya Gang, and his henchmen Vladimir Alexeyev and Igor Chernykh, considered the two main killers in the gang, have been sentenced to life. Vladimir Tsepovyaz and Nikolai Tsapok got 20 years of prison, Vladimir Zaporozhets got 19, RIA Novosti reports.
Vladimir Zaporozhets (nicknamed Kamaz) was part of the gang of Tsapok in 1997-2008 and left it in 2002. Other members are Vyacheslav Tsepovyaz, Nikolai Tsapok (uncle of Sergey Tsapok), Vladimir Alexeyev (nicknamed Bespredel), Igor Chernykh (Amur), Vitaly Ivanov (Vitamin), Sergey Karpenko (Ris Mladshy), Andrey Bykov (Byk) and Vyacheslav Ryabtsev (Buba). Ivanov and Karpenko suicided in the cell. Bykov and Ryabtsev got 20 years of prison.
According to the charge sheet, Sergey Tsapok wanted to find murderers of his brother Nikolai and kill them. He suspected farmer Server Ametov of being the one responsible. Tsapok’s gang attacked Ametov’s house in November 2010 and killed 12 people.
Alexeyev was one of the attackers and murdered children at Ahmetov’s house.
The jury sentenced them on November 8 with no right for pardon.
