The police have detained 30-year-old Andrey Kosnikov, 18-year-old Sergey Bondar and five teenagers aged 15 to 17 suspected of murdering an Uzbek native in St. Petersburg on November 4, the National Unity Day of Russia, Interfax reports.
The police believe that the group stabbed and beat the man for nationalistic reasons. The Uzbek died at the scene of the attack.
