A panel discussion devoted to tolerance and the multicultural character of Russian society has been held in the framework of the Sochi Journalism school. The event was attended by representatives of the South and North Caucasus, local diasporas and prominent experts.
The discussion was hosted by Vice President of the Consulting-Analysis-PR group, Ismail Agakishiyev, and Executive Director of the North-South political analysis centre, Vestnik Kavkaza's chief editor Alexey Vlasov.
According to Vlasov, Sochi is an example of successful inter-ethnic relations and mutual tolerance. He stressed that this distinctive feature is a characteristic of the whole region.
