Two airborne bombs lying underground since 1995 and discovered in Chechnya on November 18 have been destroyed, Yuga.ru reports.
One of them weighed 500kg. It was found 5km away from Aslanbek-Sheripovo (Shatoysky District). The other weighed 250kg and was found at a quarry 3km away from Yarysh-Mardy (Groznensky District).
The bombs were destroyed by sappers of the 495th rescue group of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies.
