Chief Prosecutor of Adjara Levan Gzirishvili left his post. As he left, he said that he was offered to work as a private prosecutor, but he refused and resigned.
"I was contacted and told that there is a new team, there are new plans in which I will not be involved. It was offered to me to continue to work elsewhere in ordinary office of the prosecutor, if I have such a desire. I refused and wrote a letter of resignation. Good luck”, Gzirishvili said, Georgia Online reports.
According to some information sources, Gzirishvili as chief prosecutor of Adjara will be replaced by Shota Tkeshelashvili . The ex-prosecutor at the moment has no plans for the future and has not yet decided where he would like to continue his activities.
