A memorial of soldiers killed in the Caucasus located at Rebrovka was put up for sale in November, RIA Novosti reports.
The monument was municipal property. The GDSU was in control of the monument for some time in 2004. Kostroma administration demanded the auction on sales of the monument to be stopped.
Head of Kostroma administration Victor Yemets said that the monument was build with the help of Tsentralny Rynok funds.
