The statute of limitations for the criminal case against Russian ex-Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov has expired, Interfax reports.
Negligence is not a severe crime and its period of limitations is only 2 years. The road to the Zhitnoye Recreation Center was completed by autumn 2011.
A criminal case on negligence was initiated against Serdyukov yesterday.
