The upper age limit for recruitment into the armed forces of Azerbaijan will remain the same, a member of the Milli Majlis Committee on Security and Defence, Zahid Oruc said.
Oruc said that currently there is no need to increase the upper age limit, since postponement from military service for health reasons is provided in general only for free years, while only bachelors will be exempt from recruitment.
As earlier reported by Vestnik Kavkaza, at the end of November there was information that Azerbaijan was thinking to increase the upper age limit from 35 to 40 years.
