The Chechen State Pedagogic Institute opened the Children of the Caucasus – for Peace in the Caucasus Forum yesterday, SKFO.ru reports.
Children from Dagestan, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, North Ossetia attended the forum, presented videos about their republics, traditions and achievements.
The program included the Caucasus Our Common Home round-table conference, KVN performances, a demonstration of the Children of Chechnya for Peace video. The Presidential Lyceum held a concert attended by art groups of Melodies and Rhythms of the Caucasus. Guests visited the Theater named after K. Nuradilov.
The forum is held within the framework of the federal program for development of education in 2013, ordered by the Russian Ministry for Education and Science.
