The body of a militant born in 1981, who was wanted in the Tsumadinsky District for property damage, banditism and an attack on police officers, has been found in the Shamilsky District of Dagestan, RIA Novosti reports.
The law enforcers imposed the counter-terrorism operation regime in the Shamilsky District at about 7.30 pm on Monday. One of the militants surrounded in the area was killed and identified as the local gang leader named Magomed Khalitov, nicknamed Abdulla. He is notable for killing the head of a village.
The police found ammo, clips, an ED-8 detonator. A blindage for 5 was found 50m away. It had five containers with a volume of 200 liters with food, medicines, clothes, three gas containers. The blindage was destroyed.
