Azerbaijan is working on a new field uniform for the armed forces, the chairman of Bakı Tikiş Evi (BTE) dealing with this, Fada Rahimov, said.
It will differ from the current one in model, quality and some other characteristics. It will be supplied to troops after the approval of the Ministry of Defense.
"The new uniform is developed for the Ministry of Defence," APA quotes Rahimov.
The material which is meant to be used for it is fabric of Turkish origin. The camouflage is similar to the Turkish one with a computer design. Externally, the new uniform will be similar to the one in which Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov and Chief of Staff Najmeddin Sadigov go to the contact line.
The army is expected to receive it next year ahead of the summer season.
