Today two citizens intending to sell a lead container with radioactive radium-226 have been detained in Tblisi.
The container was discovered in the basement of the house of one of the detainees. "The Ministry of Internal Affairs is carrying out an investigation concerning storing a dangerous material and attempting to sell it," the Ministry’s press service said.
