Canadian intelligence says that Doku Umarov plans a terrorist attack for the Sochi Olympics, Gazeta.ru reports.
Terrorist attacks during Olympic Games have been a problem since 1972 when the Black September terrorist group killed 11 Israeli athletes in Munich. Two people died and 111 were injured in a blast at the Olympic Park in Atlanta in 1996.
The Russian government guarantees security at the 2014 Games.
