Kazakhstan is marking its 22nd Independence Day, to be marked with public holidays on December 16-17. President Nursultan Nazarbayev’s speech was called the ‘7 achievements of independence of Kazakhstan,’ where the leader emphasized progress in development of institutions, adoption of national currency, solution of problems, said political analyst Eduard Poletayev.
The expert emphasized that strengthening of sovereignty was an essential political priority. Kazakhstan is a young state ready for integration, he said. Poletayev added that unitarity was one of the main aspects of the country.
