Alexander Umantsev and Daniyal Mamayev have been taken under custody in Chechnya for an attack on the Chechen police and Presidential Security Service on July 12, 2004, RIA Novosti reports.
The attack happened in Avtury (Shalinsky District, Chechnya). The gang responsible for the attack was headed by U.N. Khalilov, A.Z. Avdarkhanov, I. Muskiyev, Abu Khafz and Fariz Yusef Amirat. There is still not enough evidence for the case.
