From January 1 until March 31, 2014 the Russian postal service will be checking parcels sent to the Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea by EMS and first class.
Postal offices will not accept unchecked, packaged postal items.
These requirements are necessary to ensure safety during the Olympic Games in Sochi, the postal service believes.
