The Peter Veliky heavy missile cruiser of Russia will visit Syria to assist the operation to transport chemical weapons, spokesman of the ship's flotilla Aystayn Kvarning said, ITAR-TASS reports.
China's Yancheng will take part in the mission as well to secure movement of chemicals from the Latakia Port of Syria to Italy and then to a US ship.
