20-year-old Ruslan Kozik tried to escape and opened fire at a group of police officers checking his documents in Makhachkala last night, RIA Novosti reports.
The police killed the gunman. No one else was injured in the incident. A criminal case was initiated for an attack on police officers and the trafficking of weapons.
