FBI to tell truth about murder of Todashev

The FBI is ready to publish materials on murder of Ibragim Todashev, a Chechen killed by one of its agents in Florida, FBI Director James Comey said, RIA Novosti reports.

He explained that publication of the materials was postponed because they needed studies at the US Justice Department. According to FBI spokesman Paul Bresson, the Justice Department will compose its own report on the story.

Todashev was shot by an FBI agent in his apartment in Florida on May 22, after questioning. FBI agents and police officers of Massachusetts questioned the man about the Boston Marathon blast of April 15. He was suspected of being part of the plot organized by the Tsarnayev brothers and murder of three in Waltham in September 2011.
