Chess player Gashimov’s body arrived in Baku

The body of Vugar Gashimov, three times chess champion of Azerbaijan, has arrived from Heidelberg, where he died from a serious illness on January 11, to Baku, Trend reports.Gashimov’s relatives, chess players, Vice President of the Azerbaijani Chess Federation Faig Gasanov arrived at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport to see Gashimov. Last respects will be paid to the chess player at the Republican Chess Center at 11.00 am – 3.00 pm. His body will be buried at the Second Honorary Alley.
