A bomb equivalent to 50kg of TNT and a mine equivalent to 1kg were found in a house where a group of militants had been hiding in Karlanyurt (Khasavyurtovsky District, Dagestan), RIA Novosti reports.
The militant group was sighted on Tuesday night. The police surrounded the group. Three officers died and five were wounded in the operation. Four militants were killed. Two of them have already been identified.
