Weapons cache found in the capital of Karachai-Cherkessia

In Karachai-Cherkessia police have found a cache with sniper rifles and Kalashnikovs.

The weapons were found in two lock-ups in Cherkessk.

"Three Kalashnikov assault rifles, three sniper rifles, a Degtyarev light machine gun, more than 350 cartridges of various calibers, four magazines fir a AK-74, 2 magazines for an SVD device for a noiseless Kalashnikov have been seized," RIA Novosti cites the message of the Main Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the North Caucasus Federal District.

According to the agency, the cache belongs to members of organized crime groups involved in killings and kidnappings, robbery and extortion. Four members of the group have already been detained. The leader and three of his accomplices are being searched.
