Expert says single history texbook should be impartial

Russian President Vladimir Putin has recently met with scholars working on the new single history textbook. Vestnik Kavkaza discussed the whole situation surrounding the project with Vice President of the Consulting-Analysis-PR holding Ismail Agakishiyev.

The expert underlines that the textbook should be unbiased in its coverage of the history of the Caucasus.

"The history of the Caucasus before joining Russia is not covered nowadays. This allows our adversaries to promote myths and popularize their baseless speculations," Agakishiyev told Vestnik Kavkaza.
