The Gifts of the Three Wise Men holy relics will arrive from Minsk to Kiev at about 4.00 pm on Friday, said arch-priest Victor Ivashchuk, secretary of the Kiev Eparchy, ITAR-TASS reports.
The Gifts will then be moved to the Kiev Pechersk Lavra in half an hour and shown at the Svyato-Uspensky Cathedral. Arch-priest Georgy Kovalenko, spokesman of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchy, expressed hope that the relics will bring stability to the country.
