Chief doctor sentenced for helping militants in Dagestan

The police have concluded collection of evidence against the chief doctor of the Makhachkala City Hospital (Dagestan) suspected of helping militants, Interfax-South reports.

According to investigators, on February 6, 2010, the doctor helped Ibragim Gajidadayev, a militant of Jamaat Gimry wounded in an attack on Chief of Police Directorate Ahmed Magomedov and his escort the previous day. The doctor and staff of the hospital agreed to help militants regularly.
