The First Pan-Caucasian youth educational camp “Mashuk-2010” has closed. A list of 30 projects of the second group of young people to win grants was announced at the official closing ceremony. The grant fund of 10 million roubles was divided between the 62 best projects, 32 of which were from the first group. From the 7th to the 26th of August some 2000 youngsters from different parts of the Caucasus visited the camp. The projects were presented in various sections: business, art, media, politics or economic and social improvement projects. Leaders of all the Caucasian regions visited the camp. Three educational courses were part of the camp's program: interethnic interactions, project management and effective communications. Youngsters took part in various activities: sporting events, dance competitions and Days of the Republics. They also organised a demonstartion “Youth against terror”, donating blood for the victims of the explosion in Pyatigorsk.
