Tough security measures taken for Olympic Torch Relay in Ingushetia

The Olympic Flame will arrive from Grozny (Chechnya) to Magas (Ingushetia) today. The relay from the Square of Consent will start at 2.00 pm. The torch will be carried by 17 bearers to the Avenue of Idris Zyazikov, ITR-TASS reports.The bearers include Olympic champions boxer Rahim Chakhkiyev (2008) and heavy athlete Israel Arsamakov, first Ingush climber of the Everest Leyla Albogachiyeva.The torch bearers will pass over 2 km, ending the Olympic Rally at the Tower of Consent. Chakhkiyev will light the flame.Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov called Tuesday a day off due to importance of the event. He assured that additional security measures will be taken.
