Heavy snowing and wind have resulted in closing of major sections of roads in the Stavropol Territory: in the Turkmensky, Alexandrovsky, Blagodarensky, Grachevsky, Kochubeyevsky Districts, on the Krasnogvardeyskoye-Privoknoye-Peschanokopskoye road towards to Rostov Region, ITAR-TASS reports.
Fire-fighters have provided four Nefaz snowmobiles. Mobile warming stations were organized on the Nevinnomyssk-Kursavka and Kursavka-Mineralniye Vody, on the Elista-Stavropol Highway, on the Neftekumsk-Zelenokumsk and Neftekumsk-Blagodarny Highways.
Wind is expected to reach a speed of 18-23m/s. Temperature will drop to -20 and -25 degrees C in some areas.
