The Gifts of the Magi will arrive in Volgograd on February 3, 2014, blessed by Patriarch of Moscow and All-Russia Kirill, ITAR-TASS reports.
The Gifts will stay at the Kazansky Cathedral in Volgograd. They will be open to visitors from 6.00 pm to 12.00 am on February 3 and from 6.00 am to 12.00 pm on February 4. The Gifts could be seen in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Minsk and Kiev from January 6 to 30, delivered for the Christmas period. Over a million people could touch the relics.
34 people were killed in a blast at the main railway station of Volgograd on December 29 and a trolleybus blast on December 30, 2013. Over 70 people were injured. A suicide bomber killed 7 and injured 40 people in a bus in the city on October 21.
