Six warming posts were deployed in Dagestan’s Khasavyurt, Derbent, Izberbash, Manas, Nizhny Chiryurt and Achlobi to warm drivers on snow-filled roads, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.
Road services are clearing roads and covering ice with sand. There are no closed roads or traffic jams. 229 vehicles are clearing the roads. The republican divisions of the Ministry for Emergencies are in a higher state of readiness to rescue people.
An emergency warning was made in Dagestan yesterday due to the heavy snow in the republic.
