Israeli President Shimon Peres has met participants of the 7th session of the Club of Editors-in-Chief of the CIS, Baltic and Georgia, RIA Novosti reports.
He discussed anti-Semitism and xenophobic tendencies in the world. Peres recalled 60 years of working in the Israeli government and admitted that half of his time had been spent on prevention of tensions between people.
Members of the Club of Editors-in-Chief met Natan Sharansky, Head of the Sochnut Club. They visited Jericho and the Museum Complex built within the framework of the program on restoration of the Russian presence.
