Construction of the Astrakhan-Kochubey-Kizlyar-Makhachkala Highway (A-152) has started. It will connect Dagestan, the Astrakhan Region and Kalmykia, SKFO.ru reports.
The new highway will be built using new technologies. It will have two lanes. The highway was covered with asphalt to the borders of the Astrakhan Region and Kalmykia in 2013.
