Militant Sheykhakhmed Baysuyev, aged 41 and nicknamed Foton, has been killed in the Sobachy Village (Khasavyurtovsky District, Dagestan), Yuga.ru reports.
He was stopped at a railway. Baysuyev opened fire when the police tried to detain him. The militant was killed when police returned fire. The police found a submachine gun with three magazines and four grenades.
Baysuyev was put on the wanted list in Chechnya in 2005. He called himself the Emir of Gudermes. The militant moved to Dagestan and operated as a member of the Aukhovskaya or the Khasavyurtovskaya militant group.
