Russia has banned entry to 31,500 Armenians, according to data on February 10, said Svetlana Stepanova, an official for migration problems at the Russian Embassy in Armenia, News Armenia reports.
23,400 Armenians were banned from Russia in 2013 and 8,100 this year.
464,000 foreigners were blacklisted by Russian migration authorities, 422,000 of them come from CIS states. A total of 573,000 people were on the blacklist as of February 2014.
