Sochi has opened the Love Alley for the St. Valentine’s Day today. Yevgeny Plushenko and his pair Yana Rudkovskaya have become the first couple to have a granite start built for them on the stairway of the Sochi Cinema, ITAR-TASS reports.
Organizers, the figure skater and his wife could not attend the opening. They had an urgent visit to Moscow on Thursday night.Sochi Mayor Anatoly Pakhomov and his wife Yelena was another highlight of the opening. All newlyweds of February 14 will be given an opportunity to come to stay.
According to the Civil Registry of Sochi, 25 new couples were registered on February 14.
