An explosion has occurred in the center of the Turkish city of Istanbul on February 17, Turkish newspaper Sabah reported, writes Trend.
According to preliminary reports, the cause of the explosion was a gas leak.
The explosion caused damage to several buildings, shattering their windows.
Turkish Anadolu agency reported that four injured people were taken to hospitals; two of them are in serious condition.
Residents of nearby houses were evacuated because of danger of a second explosion.
