Unidentified armed assailants broke into the Supreme Council and government of the Crimea in Simferopol this morning, Interfax reports.
The group neutralized the security guards and occupied the buildings. Speaker of the Parliament of the Crimean-Tatar People Refat Chubarov said that no demands had been named by the attackers.
Russian flags hung on the buildings yesterday are still there. A barricade was built around the Supreme Council. Most police officers are near the government building.
