115 people were poisoned by gas in Lokbatan (Garadag District, Baku), spokesman of the Azerbaijani Healthcare Ministry Anar Gadirli said, Trend reports.
70 of them were given medical aid on the spot, 45 were taken to the Toxicology Center of the Healthcare Ministry, 43 hospitalized. Natalya Mamedova from Lokbatan has not been confirmed dead.
The gas supply to the residential area was stopped. An odorant compound used to find gas leaks is suspected of causing the poisoning.
