A criminal case has been initiated against Ali Umarov, Head of the Kaytagsky District of Dagestan, for wasting over 16 million rubles of the 20 million granted for beautification in 2012, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.
Prosecutors have taken the case under special control.
