Georgian President Georgy Margvelashvili visited Gardabani yesterday and congratulated the local Azerbaijani population on Nowruz. He watched performances and tried the traditional Azerbaijani cuisine, Georgia Online reports.
Margvelashvili recalled his recent meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and noted the role of Azerbaijani and Georgian communities in strengthening ties between the two nations.
The Georgian president visited Telman Khalilov’s house and congratulated his family on Nowruz.
