The State Medical Academy of Dagestan took third place in the ratings
of higher medical education centers, complied based on the average
rating of the Unified State Examination of students, the materials of
a joint study of the Higher School of Economy and RIA Novosti says.
The rating included 360 higher education centers, with at least 200
state-funded places.
The state medical academy of Dagestan is located in Makhachkala.
The rating means the medical academy of Dagestan is the only higher
education center of the North Caucasian Federal District in the top
ten (8th position) of all Russian higher education centers.
Another higher education center in the rating is the State Linguistic
University of Dagestan (43rd position with 70.7 points), followed by
the State Pharmaceutics Academy of Pyatigorsk (72nd position with 66.9
points).
