17 people have been detained at mass protests in the Agri Province (Turkey). The protests had started after the Central Electoral Committee nullified results of municipal polls in the province, Trend reports.
The Peace and Democracy Party, a pro-Kurdish movement, won the municipal elections in the Agri Province. Members of the ruling Justice and Development Party demanded reconsideration of vote results.
