Ingushetia has been given a quota of 1,400 visitors to Mecca this year, down by 40 compared with the year before, ITAR-TASS reports.
The quota was shortened due to the reconstruction of the Al-Haram Mosque.
Ahmed Yevlouev, executive officer of the Ingush Hajj Committee, said that the reception of documents for Hajj had started. He warned that people making their first Hajj will have preferences. Some Arab states will send planes with pilgrims to Saudi Arabia due to instability in the region
