According to social polls of SSI, only one of every six Americans knows where to find Ukraine on the map. Many were trying to find it near Portugal, Sudan, Kazakhstan or Finland, RIA Novosti reports.
Only 27% of people aged 18-24 knew where to find Ukraine, compared with 14% of people aged 65. Surprisingly, the farther away people were searching for Ukraine, the more confident they were.
2066 Americans were questioned on March 28-31.
