Russia’s FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov said that Doku Umarov, leader of the Caucasus Emirate terrorist organization, was dead, RIA Novosti reports.
The official noted that 33 counter-terrorism operations had been carried out in Q1 2014. 36 militants leaders and 65 active militants were killed.
