Radicals in Donetsk vow to put down weapons

Radicals occupying the Security Service building in Donetsk have promised to put down weapons and leave the building, RIA Novosti reports.

Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Vitaly Yarema promised not to storm the building if they give up voluntarily.

Ukrainian acting President Alexander Turchynov said that armed people will be neutralized in the counter-terrorism operation. Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov urged people to negotiate.
